As you know, if you have been following my blog, I love to photograph the dogs that I see on my way. It has been pretty quiet lately as it has been so hot, but I have been birding in a different area lately and I've met a few amazing canines and their handlers.
I met Daisy and Halo during a birding festival up north back in May. Their people were very friendly and chatted a bit about them. Their people love to name their pooches after flowers, Daisy is the senior hound and Halo is they younger girl (a type of Jasmine I believe) Halo is somehow related to Daisy, maybe a niece or daughter? My phone(which I usually use for dog pics) ran out of juice at this time and I had to take a photo with my digital camera, and they sat so patiently as I had my zoom lens on!
I met Marley, who is a young Lhasa Apso at the park with her owner. The nice gentleman let me know that Marley is in training and is enjoying her time there, especially grazing the grass. She has the softest coat and she is giving much love to her owner who had been grieving the loss of his senior dog.
Harlow is a sweet young girl (they are about the same age) Havanese that Marley met on her journey. They love to play together! Puppy love!
Barley and Brynlee are a pair of Labradoodles who also love the park! Barley is a senior boy (13) who is so sweet and still active. Brynlee is a young female who Barley is helping to be a good girl for their home.
Jasmine and Lexi are two young purebred Scottish Collies. So big and soft! Jasmine has such a unique coat, only her head has colour,, her entire body is pure white!. Lexi is more the typical Collie tricolour coat. The sisters were very friendly and accepted a treat nicely.
May is the sweetest little golden pup! She is 3 mths old (i think) and was on a " get to meet ya" tour at the park. Her energy and exuberance for life was evident, as well as the love for his new pup from her owner!
Last but definitely not least is the lovely and sweet senior Gracie. Even though she is 13 years old and walks a bit slower, she really enjoys her walks and loves to sniff around the edges of the bushes. Her owners were so patient and caring for her as she chose her own path!
