Dogspotting 3

Here is another post about the Dogs I meet on my Nature wanderings.  I would say dogs( and their people) are a close second to birds in my experience in nature. I always ask if I can photograph the dogs, but I don't always tell them about my blog.  If anyone recognizes a dog, please pass on to the owner about the blog.  I have had only 1 person say that she didn't want her dogs picture to be posted, which is fair.

The one thing that is always evident in my interactions with the dogs and their humans, is the pure love between them!

Today we have Soup, who is a handsome Welsh Pembroke Corgi, who was super friendly and very interested in the treats in my pocket.  His owner and I talked about Corgi characteristics as I have a Corgi Mix myself.  They are super smart and always have their nose to the ground , as well as particular as who they want to be their friend.

Zoe is a sweet mixed breed girl who is also very friendly and interested in my treats! Zoe has the most intelligent looking eyes!  Super alert!  Her owner was very enthusiastic about telling me all about her canine companion.

Mia and Rufous are next!  They are a lovely pair of purebred Dachshunds.  Rufous is a standard size long haired dachshund and Mia is a mini.  Mia was a bit more shy then Rufous, though Rufous is still just a puppy.  The puppers were not afraid at all of the territorial Canada Geese that were in their path!
Here is sweet and  bouncy Jack!  He is a Golden Retriever that the lovely couple adopted from the Golden Retriever rescue.  He was born in Egypt and was a street dog there before he won the lottery and came to live in Canada with this nice couple!
Last but not least is pretty girl Brandy!  She is a very sweet mixed breed that has the shiniest black coat I've ever felt!  So well behaved, and like all of the puppers that could have treats (I always ask as some dogs have special diets) they sit so well!
