Spring is here!
Well it is finally the end of March and it has been fun getting to know the natural world in even the harshest of conditions. I have made a commitment to myself to bird every day, for anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes or more. I have met some amazing people on my way and learned about the wonderful species close to.my home. I like to focus on birding within 2 hours of home here in Lambton County! Though I do like to see what others have experienced in other locales. It has been rainy and warm lately and we have welcomed Song Sparrows Melospiza georgiana , Red Winged Blackbirds Agelaius phoeniceus , Robins Turdus migratorius , and Killdeer Charadrius vociferus back to SW Ontario.
